Introduced in the fall of 2004, the 3Com NBX V3000 IP Telephony Solution raises the bar for ease of installation and administration by combining all of the fundamental telephone features required by small customers in one cost-effective compact platform. More affordable than other leading IP phone products, 3Com NBX is also far easier to maintain and expand, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) versus other legacy and IP PBXs.
3Com® NBX® V3000 IP Telephony Solution
The NBX V3000 solution can be expanded to support as many as 1,500 devices. Additionally, a wide array of advanced functionality for network, remote offices, T1/E1 access, and additional analog or BRI lines is available through the NBX V5000 expansion chassis.
This 1U IP PBX platform delivers exceptionally cost-effective and easy to administer IP telephony services to small and medium enterprises, providing the latest in VoIP technology at a “starter” price. It is expandable to handle virtually any number of T1, PRI, or analog lines. 400 hour voice mail capacity is standard! Review this system in the comfort of your office, with an on site demonstration.
3Com NBX V3001R Network Telephony Solution
The "business-class" architecture of the 3Com NBX V3001R Platform delivers the high reliability needed in multisite deployments such as branch offices. The "R" in the product name stands for the "redundancy" built into the solution. To maximize uptime, dual standard power supplies ensure business continuity in case of a power failure. As an option, the platform also supports a redundant configuration of hard drives (RAID level 1) that enables operation-critical code to be written automatically to an alternate hard disk.
In addition to the same 1500 device capacity of the V3000, the V3001R provides redundancy options including redundant power supplies and network links, plus mirrored hard drives.
SIP Support the Competition Can’t Touch!

Do you want to support third-party SIP phones, including the new 802.11 dual mode products coming out? We can bring a complete working 3Com NBX to your office and take it from a new-in-box state to making calls within a couple of minutes. Why doesn’t the competition offer on-site demos of their products? Simply because they are too complex to install and configure.
Easy Telecommuter and Branch Office Support
As long as you have broadband Internet access available, Advanced Technology Solutions can configure remote access to the PBX from a hard or soft phone. Work from home and be “on” the phone system, reachable by extension number. Combined with leading call center packages, you can enjoy the tremendous cost savings of virtual office space for call center functions, the biggest trend for call center operations that is reaping huge savings.
We have deployed several multi site NBX systems that were connected over the Internet with VPN technology. Despite the inability to guarantee voice quality over the Internet our clients have enjoyed surprisingly good results. Additionally, full mesh connectivity was achieved, allowing phones at one remote site to directly communicate with another remote site.
